Change Polyphemus into someone else, maybe a pop culture
figure. (Hannibal Lector)
Create a short back story on Polyphemus, story of how he was
turned into a Cyclops. (brother bear kind of magic)
Make Circe a pop culture character instead and create a type
of back story on her
Have Hermes team up with Odysseus
Change the magical herb that Hermes gives Odysseus into
something else (donut, big mac, etc.)
Circe reminds me of the movie “Spirited Away” where the
witch Ubaba turns the little girls parents into pigs
Have the men turned into cartoon characters rather than
animals
Make Circe send them on a different journey, make it a
comedic one
Make a back story on Circe
