My 2 favorite articles that I read was the "5 tips for taking feedback." I really enjoyed the 5 tips article because it laid out very simply the best ways to deal with feedback. No one enjoys feedback, we all think were doing things the right way and get very defensive when people try to tell us different. The best way to deal with this is like the article said understand that nobody perfect and everyone has things they can work on, we have to find the positives in the things we do wrong, and we need to not take criticism so personally.
Personally taking feedback is something I really struggle with sometimes. Honestly, I do everything the article talked about. I take the criticism personally, I try to be perfect, and I start getting down on myself because someone had to correct something I was doing. I need to take feedback better in school, relationships, and life in general. I think what I need to do to correct this is when someone gives me feedback, I need to be positive about it, not take it to heart, and work to fix it.
