Reading notes B: Hero Tales

I mainly focused on the story of the jealous father for this reading. This reading reminded me a lot of the movie the Mummy. Because the pharaohs right hand man Imhotep has relations with the pharaohs wife and the pharaoh figures this out because he notices marks on her hand that must be from him. Imhotep then kills the pharaoh and flees but the pharaohs guards basically make it their duty to track down Imhotep and make his life miserable. And all Imhotep is trying to do is get back to is the pharaohs wife which hes in love with. So a lot of similarities in this and I think I could write about this fairly well but I think im going to stick with writing about the story i focused on before which was the "jealous nephew."
